Edwards Harvey PR & Marketing has been appointed by the Rye
Bay Marketing Group to promote one of the South East’s premier tourist destinations.
The Kent-based consultancy
has been briefed to develop and deliver a PR and marketing strategy designed to maximise national and regional press coverage
and raise public awareness of the Rye Bay region, which includes the medieval Cinque Port town of Rye, Fairlight Cove, Camber,
Winchelsea, Peasmarsh, Broad Oak and Wittersham.
As well as positioning Rye Bay as a leading
holiday and short break destination with a diverse range of places to visit, attractions, festivals, events and accommodation,
Edwards Harvey’s campaign aims to drive traffic to the marketing group’s newly-launched website and increase footfall
to the region’s tourist information centres.
“While Rye town itself may be the region’s
jewel in the crown, there’s much more to Rye Bay for visitors to explore and enjoy so our focus will also be on the
tourism and visitor potential of the glorious coast and countryside around Rye,” says Edwards Harvey account director
Jeff Sims.
Edwards Harvey, which specialises in the travel and tourism sectors, has more than 30 years’ experience of
creating successful PR campaigns for tourist destinations, top attractions, and accommodation and holiday providers.
