Running a party for staff at Canary Wharf

crossrail.jpg

Crossrail, the company responsible for building a major railway link across London, asked Edwards Harvey to arrange an event to celebrate the submission of the Crossrail Bill to Parliament and to thank its staff for their hard work during its preparation.

Our events team selected the function suite at Cabot Hall, in Canary Wharf Tower, as a dramatic and accessible venue, well-suited for a party with 200 guests.

Guests were entertained by a close magician, a mind-reader, and a band made up of musicians from the Crossrail team. They enjoyed a fork buffet with wine and a chocolate fountain. Table dressings and flower arrangements were all in white, lilac and purple to match Crossrail’s corporate colours.

Edwards Harvey handled every aspect of the event, including invitations, venue hire, catering, table decorations, hiring entertainers and parking, and four members of our staff were present on the night.

We also handed out 200 high quality gift bags, branded in Crossrail ribbon, containing a set of commemorative postcards and chocolates in a branded box in the shape of a train.
